Exhaust o-ring gasket
Hi guys, this is probably a stupid question.....but I'm a stupid person so you'll have to bare with me for a bit!
My exhaust is blowing (Impreza MY00 Turbo 2000) on the join where the downpipe (ninja sports cat) joins onto the centre section (after burner de-cat).....and I've ordered a new o-ring gasket to try and solve the problem. First question is......do I need to have some sort of exhaust paste to put on with this gasket? Or do they normally just go in dry? Second question, isn't that join in the exhaust designed to allow for a bit of movement or something? So would it be a bad thing to over-tighten it?
Thanks in advance for your help guys
Oh by the way, I need to get this sorted ASAP cuz the car's booked in for a remap tomorrow!!!
