Default Burble - WRX 1999 AWD UK

Hello All,

I am reletively new to the Scooby scene, although I have had mine for about a year now.

I was just wondering why mine did not have the "Rumble/Burble" that most of the Subaru's have that I have seen. The exhaust is standard, a part from an STI back box.

Anyone of you clever lot have any ideas.

Cheers

Drew

To get the proper burble you will need to de-cat, then if you go down this route...consider geting it re-mapped.

you could get a middle decat and replace the resonator pipe, looks like a small silencer before your back box, I ditched my Prodrive BB on my previous 02 STi for this set up and you get rumbling and burbling then...got a firestorm BB from TSL at the mo, which is pretty loud, with standard pipes, going to get the replacement pipes from TSL sooooooooon
