You'll need a decent pair of circlip pliers to get it out, make sure you get the ones with teh angled in tips (closed) so they are closer to parallel and not splayed when open enough to start.
Nothing else will resaonably do the job without risking damage! (yourself or the blower!)

Penetrating fluid, a little heat, and use a small punch or similar to initially free up the ends before using some beefy circlip pliers.
