Default Car didn't start yesterday

This is the 1st time it's happened since owning my car, so just wondering what it could have been really.

It's a 2003 blob, with 48k on the clock, full service history, and only ran on V-Power.

I was parked on the hill out the back of my house, and the fuel tank was full. I turned the key like normal, and it usually takes a second to fire the car up, but last night, it just kept turning over....there wasn't any splutters or anything. It made the normal noise (starter motor I guess), but just didn't fire up.

So I stopped, and tried again, this time it did start, but slightly spluttered and seemed to help when I pumped the accelerator.

I sat there for 5 mins, and turned it back off, and started it again with no problems. This morning when I finished work it started perfect as well!

Any idea's, or could it have just been a one off?
