My car will be ready tomorrow so all it leaves me to do now is get it mapped.

Until I`ve sold a few items, I really don`t have much money left so I`m after the cheapest option/remap available for a MY97 Turbo 2000.

Before the car went in, the only mods were de-cat exhaust system and HKS Induction kit. Now it has a fully forged MY96 STI RA engine, 4-1 Unequal length headers/manifold, VF22 turbo, larger injectors and a newage TMIC.

I know I`m limited to the options available to me and would love the Apexi setup but just don`t have the funds available at the moment.

Are there any cheap options out there, just looking to get a `safe' map for the moment, not bothered about getting the full potential out of the new setup, just as long as the car is safe to drive.


Any help would be much appreciated. Been without the scoob for over a month now and cannot wait to drive it again.

 

There is nothing really cheap available for the MY 97/98 cars, the only thing you can really do is drive it off boost till you can get it mapped.

Ok, looks like I will have to leave the scoob on the drive for a couple of weeks
