Default Really Confused

Hello,

Need some advice.

I just bought a VF24 rebuilt by zero/sport, but now im in two minds about it.
I have a V6 WRX RA (import).

I've been told/read that the stock turbo is a VF28 and there's not much difference between the 24 and 28.

I've read the other forums about the differences - they are very similar.

So, now im contemplating a VF34 or a VF43. Are both of these bolt ons for the classic or is work required to get it to fit?

Supporting mods - Blitz Nur exhaust, induction, walbro 255 fuel pump, uprated oil pump, 550cc injectors.

Any advise on which i should get is much appreciated.......

Thanks

Rajiv

Yes, if you're gonna upgrade from your existing 28, then the 34 or 43 will be worthwhile. They are both 'bigger' and the 34 should be capable of around 350 with decent spool. Same with the 43, except that, I believe, it's 'bigger' again, and is a 370-380 capable turbo (not totally sure about that though).

Thanks for the information.

Are both bolt ons?

Yes.

All std fit VF series turbos for the Impreza are front entry - just like your OEM VF28. So will use your existing up-pipe, turbo intake hose, IC inlet pipe, and downpipe.
