Default Hawkeye ABS light

The light on our Hawkeye 2.0l wagon is always on. The brakes feel the same as they always have. The brake fluid level is good and it stops on the spot.
I have heard that hawkeyes have a problem with ABS sensors, is this true? Where is the ABS sensor located on hawkeyes?

Does anyone know anything else that could be causing this problem. I would leave it but its an MOT fail.

Thanks in advance
Tim.

You can get the ABS sensor reset by the garage with their scan tool however, it is probably the case that either one or both of the front ABS sensors are naffed - they should be able to tell you which one/s. It is easy easy swap and you can get them second hand for about £30 each from the likes of grade A subaru. (new sensors are about £130 each from the stealer) I did and the ABS light went out.

Thanks for the response. I will get someone with the computer gizmo to plug into her in the week.
