Hi guys,
wat should i use to seal the sump, Gasket sealent

A proper gasket, if you use sealant and use a little to much it could peel off inside the sump and block up an oilway.

Threebond subaru impreza liquid engine gasket top spec on eBay, also Engine Tuning Parts, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 24-Apr-09 12:08:40 BST)
this is the stuff

if u go to subaru sure its about 12-14 quid

Loctite 5910 on the oil pan and threebond on the crank cases

i just used some loctite liquid gasket. hasnt leaked a drop. you cant get a "proper gasket"

i prefer the threebond on the sump and the rocker covers,i used the threebond once on a ripped non genuine rocker cover gasket on a mates scoob and to this day still dont leak so never bothered changing it .


i have used it on a sump and that sealed first time 2 .
not sayin the loctite is bad or anythin just what i prefer

Sorry to be so blunt guys just in a rush atm to get my baby on the road poor thing sat on my drive begging to be driven lol, just waiting for headgaskets and oil and oil filter.
