The Roger Clark Motorsport Gobstopper runs NOS and iirc Andy Forrest was running it on his race car (although not sure if this is still the case). I believe both of them are using it to get their massive turbos spooling earlier.

Dis-advantage is the running cost of filling up all the time. I don't know what the going rate is but in rip-off Britain it could be silly (?)

it wouldent need to be run everyday, just the odd blast round track and the 1/4 mile, this would bring the refills down drastically, dunno WTF anybody would want to run NoS in a road car for anyway unless it was to impress the local 12 years olds down maccyD`s on a friday night

Nos is very safe if used properly and isnt that expensive, if you are using it all the time you can get a 35kg bottle from BOC etc and fill urself, this will save you a bomb in refills.

Im with JDM Stig. I've run NoS in a few cars, and as long as you're sensible and the engine/gearbox are strong, then bang for buck its pretty good stuff!! I had it fitted to my old 6.6V8 Trans Am and a GTO Twin Turbo and it made a hell of a difference to both! (although the V8 was running a 150 shot!)
I was, however, paying £5 per Lb which was the going rate down south!

I agree it seems a bit silly for RA DUNKs 12 year old mcdonalds friends to be running a big 5 inch tail pipe on their 1 litre corsa as it serves no purpose. but if something makes your car go faster then im all for it. Plus NOS should help me break our local Mcdonalds Drive through lap record.
By the way, ive heard its only hardcore boyracers that can call it MACCY Ds! ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

lol there is nothing harsh about it, their not my friends, im no boy racer either, i hate these boy racer/cruiser type of *****, im actually thinking about NoS as well but it will be strictly for track use, why anybody needs the stuff in a road car is beyond me considering most of these cars around 300 odd BHP anyway, unless off course it was to impress the 12 year olds ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Do ya think? ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Only problem with the bullet proof glass is the exta weight.
More weight= slower acceleration=slower getaway=caught.
Plus side is not getting shot.
or the alternative
Normal glass=less weight=quicker getaway=not getting caught.
Down side=getting shot.
Didnt realise that subaru tuning could be this complicated!!!

Bought the "manual" over twenty years ago, but never felt the need for that much extra...
It's addictive, surely it will get used ? Daily....
Every "nearly" over-take becomes a "done" thing.
Talk to RCMS as they are likely to know a fair bit. Or Trev @ "The wizard of NOS"
HTH

P.S. 1. Saves having to buy bigger injectors.
P.S. 2. Saves having to buy a bigger, laggier turbo.

Cheers lads. gonna get it all back together and run in the go from there.
PS gonna get a bullet proof jacket as a compromise to the glass. Easily removed for track days.
