Default slave cylinder issues

hi people haveing problems with my clutch slave cylinder.when i drive the car the clutch pedal is slack until half way pushed then get a bite, however it is not pushing the clutch enought as its fighting to select the gears. my subaru is a classic shape impreza so hear they suffer problems in this area.the car has had a new gearbox and clutch fitted roughtly 150miles ago so that should all be fine.i tryed bleeding it today and it did seem better but once you drive it goes slack again, park it up turn it of and seems to get a little better any ideas or is it time for a new slave cylinder..
i also change the fluid in it yesterday..

Try to renovate the slave cylinder.
A renovation kit should cost you around £10 from Subaru! AFAIK there is not kit for the main cylinder, but it should be pretty straight-forward to disassemble and clean that one too. (just be careful when you disassemble it so the spring doesn't fly away and hides somewhere inaccessible ;-) )
It might have been like that for a long time but you didn't notice 'cause the clutch was worn, is the new clutch uprated? That would probably enhance te symptoms even more...

yes mate it it a uprated clutch but seemed alright at first just got worse over time..i stripped it down today cleaned it out put it back together and tryed to bleed it but i did try to bleed it with it bolted on to the car.but the clutch is worse now it will flop right down then bite just before the clutch pedal hits the floor.does the slave cylinder need to be of to bleed it 100% if so how would i do that.does the pin that pushs out need to be pushed in then when you push the clutch down it will slide out then what do i need to push it back in again or do i need to get something to hold the pin down any help would be appriciated as if i cant get it sorted will have to get a new one.

Take the slave off, the nipple needs to be higher up than the rest of the slave so the air goes to the top and is pushed out.

Clamp the pin back with a G clamp round the slave.
