Default Subaru WRX AWD and 4WD ?

Hi guys,

If a WRX 2001 bugeye with AWD sticker on the back window does this mean its the Turbo version 221bhp ??

and with a 4WD sticker means non turbo 215bhp ??

I thought the sticker was an attempt to stop dim-witted breakdown drivers trying to tow the car with the front wheels off the ground and the rears on the ground and launching the transmission.

More likely its Subaru marketing...

Nothing to do with power or type...

Yeah I'd agree I think "All Wheel Drive " is SUBARU's" name for 4WD.........I've noticed some cars with this badge on and others don't - I think usually UK versions have it ???

awd means 4 wheel drive all the time. most big 4x4 you can change them from 4x4 to x2 making them 4 wheel drive not awd
