Looking to buy some tein springs for my car but the seller has given me the part code off the struts the springs came off

F PIS58 OVO HCC
R PIS59 OVO HCC

They are black and mine are black but i just want to confirm that they will fit my car and dont really have the tools to get the wheel off at the moment .... Apprently they came off a My06 Car

your help is appreciated

Does this meen they wont fit

They should fit as the MY55 should be exactly the same as the MY06

This is what im thinking but am a bit confused as to why there diffrent shocks ! Dont want to get a garage to fit them only to find there the wrong ones haha

i found most model years(newage) are interchangeable its mainly the damping rates etc that are different (please correct me if im wrong)

Is the car a WRX or an STi? For the WRX they changed the suspension between the 05 and 06 model years (I believe) to use the inverted strut design previously used on the STi. If your car is a WRX, and if I'm right with the dates - so all in all, pretty unlikely! - it could be your car is one of the last to use the old strut set up, whereas the 06 car ha dthe inverted struts
