Whereabouts in the engine bay is the power steering pump?
I'm running a MY01 bugeye on 90k miles. Recently I'm getting a squealing/squeaking noise when I turn the wheel and it gets to almost full lock. Sounds like it could be the belt that's driving the power steering pump? I'm not sure though where the steering pump is in the engine bay - rough pointer? Ta
I've also noticed that it's squealing a bit when cornering too - could it be that the momentum of going round the corner is straining the belt for the steering pump?
Cheers
Richard.

the power steering pump on classics is black and sits at the top left front of the engine next to the alternator if its squealing then your belt could be the problem or you steering fluid is low.

The actual pump is in the same place as classics though, it is just the res that is behind the drivers light. As legacytt says its at the front of the engine to the left of the alternator.
