Default K&N Air induction kits

Thinking if fitting a K&N air induction kit to my 2004 impreza estate 2L. I would like to know what people think to their effectiveness. Are they worth fitting and how easy to do? Ta Clipps11

Fairly easy to fit (diy job) on turbo varaints some people say there not very effective and suffer from heat soak.. although on a 2l non turbo i dont think that would be a problem,, you will just benefit from a loud induction noise when on full throttle
