Replacing the Coolant Temperature Sensor

Replacing the Coolant Temperature Sensor
Hi all,
I was wondering how much of a job it is to replace the coolant temperature (ecu) sensor on a classic sti (98)?
I found a picture in another thread of where it is located, but couldn't make out if it is easily accessible or not - any ideas about what's involved and how long it should take?
Cheers

You gotta have small hands! Its just plug n play really - just bolts directly in. Took me longer to take everything out to get to it. Depends on whats in the way of yours. 1 Hour?

Drain some of the coolant off from the tap on the bottom of the rad, remove alternator (nice and easy) then you can get decent access, remove old sensor, fit new, refill coolant.. job done.

Sweet, thanks. I just got my garage to do this for me now - but was curious as I couldn't find where it went before I took it in - otherwise I'd have had a go myself. I was charged an hour's labour (at a very good rate I might add) and it solved the problem, so well happy. Good to know for future reference as I couldn't find anything else on the net about replacing this small but very important part!
Cheers
