Default Has anyone run a duct to a TMIC ?

Would like to lose the scoop, but not at the expense of causing higher det temps due to a build up of heat when running.

The reason I say this, my mitsubishi Pajero (2.5 TD) has a ducted bonnet, pulling air from the grill to the TMIC, and people with the newer 2.8 TD sometimes fit the older bonnet to get rid of their scoops.

Will the same be possible for a Subaru, and if so, anyone done it ?

TIA

Simple! - fit a front mount! Or maybe swap the car in for an EVO?

A tear duct? for I/C water spray gypsy tears ?

Do not try and shrink me gypsy !

It's actually a good idea, in theory. BUT I reckon for the faff and bollox of doing it you may as well go for a stealth FMIC.

A New age front underbonnet intake pipe to an encapsulated IC lid would be cool, literally
