Default Resonated centre section

I have a 2.5" Hayward & Scott system from the turbo back (decat). The centre section i a straight through pipe and the rear box is a 5" angled jap style box.

My problem is that the noise is too loud for the track, so will a scoobysport resonated centre section help the noise?

I may be able to get hold of a TSL 4" Group N backbox.

Which of the above will be reduce the sound level most, the resonated centre or the back box?

cheers, Dave

I had a straight through centre section and ninja backbox which i found too loud.
I bought a scoobyworld resonated centre section and it made very little difference.
I'm on the lookout for a Prodrive box now.....

So it looks like the back box will be my best bet to get it quieter?

cheers

Resonated centre section will help a little but the noise will very much depend on the type of rear box and its age/condition. If its old/well used the material in the box to absorb the noise will not work as well as say a new box.
I think replacing backbox or getting a baffle for trackuse would be better idea.

The exhaust has always been this loud. But i'm getting sick of it now. And the police are not too keen on it either.

New back box it is. Does anyone have any experience with the TSL group N box?

cheers

my experience with the noise problem is if you all ready have a de cat its always going to be fairly noisy!
The resonated section will help a little with the booming sound that can be created.
And the back box will muffle the sound (deaden) and change the pitch.
