E85 can it be mapped on a simttek as the second map?
Been reading the zen write up and as im in the process of considering a maffless set-up and therefore going down the simtek route noticed that one of the significant benefits of ruinning e85 is lower engine temps which for trackwork is a huge benefit.
can anyone tell me if i can run parrallel fuel maps without any negative consequences? I. e one map using 97 ron normal cheap super for day to day running and e85 for track work?
Also is e85 relatrively available?
final question i can get hold of a simtek for around the 700 quid mark are there any decent mappers out there around the notts area ish that people can recommend and if so how much would i be looking at for the maps?

Simon thanks i assumes its a case of run the tank down to empty and then switch fuels and switch the map? assume its more of an issue when switching to the e85 map than the other way round. Should I consider a fuel cell in the boot? Looking at a swirl pot for the future anyhow. Simon can you pm me what it'd cost for you to map the car with 2 maps and the mild als and launch control options on the simtek?

Its fairly easy to keep on top of the mix. I add 10litres per tank and let it get to fuel light on before filling up.
I have a simtek mapped by jgm ,one v power map and the other with added e85
Havent had any power runs to give figuires but there certainly seems to be a great increase in torque using e85
