Default Intercooler Cleaning

HI

What is the best method of cleaning the oil residue out of the top mount intercooler?

Any particular method or cleaner to use?

Many thanks
Steve

If you've had a turbo failure that's caused lots of oil ingress into the IC, then blow the surplus oil through with a high pressure airline. Do this in a responsible, environmentally-friendly way.

Then thoroughly clean the excess residue out using a "petrol bath", like you see in professional car repair garages/specialists, etc.
