STi 7 IC will it fit a V5
As title really, will a STi 7 Intercooler fit a V5.
If modification is required how hard is it to do.
Thanks Ben

Yes it will fit. A couple of mods needed though. A few step by step guides if you have a search

Thanks BOB5, I found a great write up by Scott.
My other question is I may be able to purchase a Hyperflow TMIC, would this be more effective than a STi7 / 8 TMIC.
I've not got much experience in the modding department so any help would be great.

IMO the hyperflow will be the better IC but is it worth loads more than a newage STI intercooler? Depends on the price you can get it for.

I can get the Hyperflow for £320 and Sti for 150.
Is the STi 7 and 8 Intercooler the same?
Cheers Ben

Sti 7 (Bug) and STi 8 (Blob) intercooler are the same
The STi intercooler is pretty efficient and will handle the airflow for 300 plus BHP with no hassle and little pressure drop.
