as above after i fitted oil catch tank and connected the hoses is that it? or do i need to stick something in it to draw?

alot of views but no one know? does it just get left empty to work itsself?

Yep, that's what I thought. You just need to empty it of oil every so often.

some sponge or something, so that the oily vapour stays in the can and the clean air can be vented back out.

right so a bit sponge it is then cheers wrighty i did think better stick something in it but no one was confirming it to me

Good job!

The sponge / filter is a good idea to clean the air but no big deal if you dont. The important thing is the tank is catching the actual liquid oil content of the air flowing in, basically a catch tank with non-filtered air will be hot and smell of oil vapour really, no real difference. The tank has already done its job with catching the dirty oil before it goes back into your intake.
