Silly question but ive never tried to see if the space saver in the boot fits over the Sti Brembo set up on my Sti bug? These must be a different type than the ones supplied with the WRX?

 

I believe the sti has a different spare to a wrx, so I presume as I have brembos on my WRX I would have to put the spare on the back and the back wheel on the front if I had a puncture in the front wheel. Never tried it though

 

i think your supposed to put space saver on rear anyway

 

Yup, if you get a puncture on the front, your suppose to swap the rear one first with the space saver then move that one to the front, dunno why they dont put a full size one in really (except it wont fit, bad design by subaru there lol)

The Importers want to maximise their profits, so a cheap spare is used.

A while back people fitting Brembo's to WRX's fell foul to this problem.
