Check Morrisons website. You'll get away with around a 10% mix without remapping.

Without mapping? is that safe

and also, whats the point? if the cars not mapped on it how are you going to see the benefit?

but as said, morrisons in york sell it.

Yes, the fuel trims will take care of the fueling. There isn't a huge point in doing it unmapped, it'll just increase the octane of the fuel in your tank slightly.

Anyone run a E85 mix on a permanent basis? I have to travel 20 miles to get V-power so it wouldn't be that much more of a inconvenience to use a V-power/E85 mix on a permanent basis to be honest.

Are their any drawbacks to running a E85/V-power mix permanently?

What car have you got? What sort of mix are you looking at? Are you getting it mapped?

Cars in the US have been running this stuff for 5-6 years with no real problems with the fuel system.

My car:

Yes the car will be mapped for it. Unsure about mixes at the moment, what are people running, whats safe/unsafe? Just trying to get some info and peoples experiences really.

Cheers

There is no unsafe mix as such, you just have to make sure your fueling system is up to scratch.. At 10% your 650's might be ok, speak to your mapper, 10% will see around a 5-7% power increase. 20+% mixes will probably mean you'll have to up the size of your injectors or adding a FPR.
