Hi Folks,

I need a new synchro for my gearbox, the 5th gear one to be precise.

I have found a place that can repair the gearbox, to keep costs down I can provide the part.

Can you recommend any places that I can go & buy the part myself?

The car is a '98 Version 4 Type R & I live in the midlands.

Hi I would also like to know this... I have my99 type r and 4th has gone on mine...
Just for reference though there is a guy called graham that I go to for anything impreza he is in Hinckley called X-Spec. Very passionate about imprezas and wont sell you anything you dont need.xspec midland impreza - Welcome

 

Let me know how you get on getting a synchor because my 5th gear crunches sometimes and it's doing my head in!
