Safe to drive with decat exhaust and new turbo until remap ?
Im going through the process of changing my '05 wrx's performance but probably cant do a remap just yet, but hopefully in a couple months.
To start with Im going to install a decat up pipe, vf34 turbo, sport cat down pipe and new back box.
Would it be safe to continue driving the car until the remap? Would I have to lay off the boost and temptation to put my foot down to avoid causing any damage to the engine?
When it comes to do the remap I will install bigger sparks, injectors and fuel pump the day before to get the remap Im looking for.

to be honnest mate, i wouldnt change anything untill you can get i mapped at the same time, your running a very big risk changing the turbo, and decatting without the map.. totally your choice mate but ide do the whole thing at once

I second that, don't risk it. Save up until you can do it all at once, you could kill your motor very quickly.

I'd argue for your approach, so long as you stick to the plan.
I fitted a HUGE turbo and it ran fine up to 1 bar and 4500 rpm, after which it went into melt-down.
