Default Poly pitching rod/box mount-noisy!!!

Hi, just thought I'd share my experience of fitting an uprated pitching control rod/upper gearbox mount. It's an ally jobbie, with polyurethane bushes. I wanted to reduce the front/back movement of the engine, due to the later tmic being close to the bulkhead.
Well, when i started the car i thought there was a serious problem, the noise of the starter was really loud! On driving, gearbox noise was greatly increased, i can't believe how changing one bush can make so much extra noise.
The bonus mind, the car seems to pick up better, i assume this is due to the engine not moving(?) giving instant response.
I'm in two minds to ditch it, see how i get on.
I've never read this before, just thought I'd post this for anyone thinking of doing the same.

I fitted the up-rated engine and gearbox mount set from Bren @ Apex.

The whine from the gearbox was a bit of a shock, (driver whine started shortly after LOL).

P.S. Gear change felt much more positive and my headers stopped trying to headbutt the bodywork....

That's the one i've just fitted, went in fine. The bush's are a very tight squeeze.
