would be pointless just checking fuelling, needs checking for det with det cans.

It may turn out to be safe but you won't be getting the most benefit from the mods fitted.

Hi i had a few mods done, de cat 3 inch full exhaust, performance filter and a larger top intercooler on, then re mapped now pumping out 280bhp, just had the re map checked to ensure running smoothly, £500 isnt cheep but with a decent remap yu shouldnt have any problems.

A well executed remap can be the best thing you ever did.
It really is surprising how much potential there is in an otherwise standard car.
I'd say if you have a mind to de cat it, you are already thinking about performance, and you owe it to yourself to explore what is on offer. As Simon says, it isn't only about fuelling.
