Most of the key powertrain parts drop straight in. Newage car has longer wishbones, lateral and trailing arms, slightly altered rear hub and strut geometry, different cooling pack, wiring loom, ECU and sensors etc. etc. etc.
It's all theoretically possible - enough people have put newage bits into classics to demonstrate the amount of cross-compatibility. However, the biggest question is why you'd want to do it in the first place, given both the hassle factor and the extra weight of the GD shell (and the amount of GD bits you'd need, over and above the body, to make it work)
If you like the looks I guess that's one reason, but you're volunteering for a lot of hassle when you could just flog your current car and buy a proper newage.
