Default ECU fault codes, car running in safe mode...

Car is a 95 WRX - version 2 pre-facelift

I've pulled 3 fault codes from the ECU - 24 (Idle Control System Malfunction), 44 (Turbocharging Pressure Control Signal), and 45 (pressure sensor).

Car runs in safe mode (low boost, sluggish, check engine light on).

ECU will not reset due to whatever is causing the fault.

I've tried cleaning the boost solenoid with brake cleaner, but when in diagnostics mode (plugs under dash connected, ignition turned to "on" position), the boost solenoid isn't clicking as it should. Would this suggest it is faulty?

Also, the third pipe on the solenoid, the bottom one, is loose and not connected to anything - where should this be connected?

Cleaning the boost solenoid, imo, will not help as the MAP sensor is at fault (black box next to the boost solenoid)

hey mate the third pipe should run to the resinator box , if you have standard airbox fitted.you have a 90deg pipe come of the maf and its there pipe goes underneath it on the side.
