I have read a little into dv's being bad for the scooby engine but how many people on here run one and what do they think,

Which are best /worst? difficult to fit and so on???

its all a matter of choice, most say that the standard one is the best. aftermarket dv's can cause issues such as poor idle, flat spots, poor fuel consumption ect.. but not everyone has problems i suppose it depends if your car addapts to one or not.

you wont get any benefit performance wise, just the noise. if you do go for one though, then dont get the cheap ones, stick with the well known makes such as HKS, Turbosmart, Forge,GFB. they can be expensive though.

they are all pretty straight forward to fit, unbolt your standard one and bold the new one in its place, then put the bung into the return pipe

just had this issue my self. i have a friend with a bailey and he has had a minor issue with his idle but nothing to get depressed about i went my self for the hks bov only because i love the noise it makes, a hi pitch chirp i love it. the hks had great reviews and i had no problem fitting it or any idle/running issues what so ever. good luck.

I didn't have any problems when I ran the forge, only difference other than the noise is I have found I get slightly better mpg with the standard dv, they are really easy to change so you can always swap back and forth if you want to
