Hello,
I'm thinking of fitting an RCM tubular exhaust manifold to my '05 STI Type UK
which is standard apart from TSL 333 Conversion. (3" exhaust, down pipe, sports cat and panel filter).
Does anyone have this fitted and if so what are your thoughts on it?
Cheers...

I don't have it fitted, but knowing RCM it will be a good quality item. Mark at Lateral can probably supply you the same quality for cheaper than RCM though.
Edited to add: At your level on the standard VF35 turbo it is unlikely to offer a siginificant improvement over the stock headers IMO.

I realise this but I'm looking to ceramic coat the exhaust system and it seems a bit pointless to coat the standard manifold.
So long as its not going to effect things in a negative way that'll be good plus it should be future proofing it ?!
Thanks for your advice..

if you are going to put these on your sti get it remapped for them you will gain power and get full potential out of the headers and the car, with putting them on at the min the way the car is you might lose power and get more lag, but the noise of the car will change slightly deeper burble lower down the revs i noticed when i installed mine
