scooby not running sweet

Default scooby not running sweet

my car is holding back under boost and missfiring what could cause this. if it was the maf would i get the ecu light on, could spark plugs cause this. it starts ok but serches for a few mins then then settels but still misses. how do i tell if my car ir running lean or rich its a uk turbo on a 1997 p plate

They are pretty sensitive to plug condition... I replace mine yearly (no idea what the service interval is) to avoid problems like this... Mine always misfires in cold damp weather, but I know I have deterioration of the coilpack casings...
Hope that's all it is...

defo sounds like coil packs, the best way to check is take 1 out (take 1 out on the airbox side its a bit easier to get to) an pull of the rubber end an see if the end of the coil pack is cracked if it is then that is your problem but make sure you check all of them coz alot of the time all of them go at once

i have the coil pack in the middle of the engine are they on plug end aswell i thaught that was older type on plugs

yeah it is sorry have a look at the coil pack an see it theres any cracks but from what you are saying it is defo something to do with your coil pack an plugs

Just try a set of plugs in it, it's usually them
