Default Glass Half full

After having great fun breaking my Subaru cherry with a my04 wrx, I have also been very unlucky after 2 months of owning it I have been told that it needs a rebuild or a reconditioned engine.

After contless hours trawling the net looking for a replacement engine and speaking to many people who were trying to sell me one, which most of the time all they did was bad mouth other compeditors. None of
them inspired confidence within me.

I thought I might as well try to improve the situation and get some decent info from the guy's who know and share thier experiance.

I want to make sure the work is carried out by a proven tunner, can anyone recommend one to me ? Can the engine be changed for a higher performing one. What do you recon folks, bring speed back into my life again.

Value for money you wont get much better than a forged 2.1 from Engine Tuner, They have been a very popular choice on here recently

I have spoken with Alan and he seems very helpful and genuine, he is however a very busy man and has approx 4 weeks waiting time. He is also situated in Plymouth, I am in Huddersfield W.Yorkshire.

I`m up in Aberdeen but i got one, Get him to build one and send it too you for somebody else to fit, 4 weeks isnt too bad TBH, You could always pick up a second hand one from the likes of japerformanceparts.co.uk but you never really know what your going to get i suppose, It`s a tough call to make as i just did it myself but it`s your call at the end of the day

Also try 22b.com i seem to remember a forged 2.5 being for sale the other day
