Steering Issues...Pls help
Hey guys.
I was hoping i could get some feedback regarding an issue im having with a steering issue on a 98 rex. I took it to a workshop to get it assessed for rego, and ever since then it has never driven the same.
The symptoms are as follows:
-Doesnt drive straight
-wonders left and right on a straight road
-near impossible to drive it in a straight line
-steering not nearly as accurate as it was before
-problem is getting worse as time goes by
The obvious solution would have been tyres and alignment, so i got that done, but it made no difference. Also the car has no accident history so there is no issue about the cars chassis being straight.
Ive taken it to a few places, but they have told me different things- one says suspension needs replacing, another says steering rack, the other says he'll replace my steering pump and that "should fix it".
Any sugguestions as to what it could be?
It bothers me for the obvious reason(its lost its driving pleasure), but also my sister drives it so im more concerned for her safety than mine.
Any help would be so very much appreciated.

Sounds a bit like mine only worse. Sometimes I don't really notice it.
I *think* it could be the wishbone bushes or the rack. My rack clunks if you dry steer slightly so something isn't right with it.
Worth noting is:
* Very sensitive to tyre pressures. I have 33 in the front and 31 in the back. 30 on just one front tyre makes it much worse.
* Negative camber on the front seems to make it worse.
Perhaps quite odd but i replaced my front anti roll bar drop links as they were pretty dead and it seems better now. With tyre pressures correct and the above it just pulls the wheel quite lot but doesn't change direction without the steering wheel moving as much as it used to.
