Default ECU Options and Advice Please

Hello,

I have a T reg 1998 (my99 I beleive) uk 2000 turbo.

I am looking for a bit more power but the cost of remaps on this car are outrageous!

I have a filter, centre decat and decent backbox. Is it correct that there are Prodrive ecus that will plug straight in and help me out? Are there any other ecu options that will "plug and play"?

Any advice would be much appreciated. (And does anyine have the right ecu for sale at a decent price?)

The prodrive ecu's work perfect with the rest of the performance pack, outside of that criteria and you can have issues.
Your best bet is a remap, they are not exactly expensive, ecutek can be had for 500 to 650 quid.

Wasn't the rest of the PPP pack a different filter, decat, backbox and intercooler pipe, all of which I have? That is roughly 25% of the cars value which is a lot for a bit more power! It might be the best option though I suppose. I was just hoping there a was a cheaper option.

look for a my99 or my00 ppp ecu ive seen them go on here for around £250 hope that helps mate
