Default Clueless....!!!!!!

Hi guys - I've statred to get a problem with hesitation at around 2 - 2.5K revs??
The car is fine when cold but this is under gentle accelration when the engine is hot??
Ive no Idea - any thoughts??

Have wondered this but it all looks good and clean etc - worth spraying up with sum switch clean ?? Is that specifiic MAF cleaner you can buy any good??

How old are the plugs and what are they gapped to?

I hade the same problem on my bugeye wrx. Changed the plugs to (NGK pfr6b) and the hesitatiion stoped, and i gapped them to 0.7

My car is standard by he way.

I only had the plugs done about 6 months ago but Im not sure what they were gapped to as my garage did them n not me - I think that I'll have them out at the weekend and check their condition and gaps (0.7 yeah?) I think they may have been pfr7b's but cant remember - would that cause a problem??

PFR-6B's for a standard car, although 7-B's should be fine.

The car is an MY95 - WRX import.
Not many mods :
HKS panel filter
2.5" cat back exhaust
Eprom chip (same as polar performance one I think)
VTA dump valve
Uprated Coil packs

The rest is cosmetic following an argument with a Dear and faceliting the car.

Right - Firstly - thanks for the replies to my post guys!!
I had the plugs out at the weekend and the guy who put them in had only put 2 in finger tight! They were also gapped at .8 so have now regapped and tightenned up the plugs - seems to all be fine - suprise suprise!
The maf was clean and fine - no black ****e or otherwise so hpoefully the problem is solved!!
