Yeah i know a few people who use these. I will be using them on mine when its rebuilt! They help to stop heat transfer from your cylinder heads to your inlet manifold. I've heard good things about them but i will be buying mine from RCMS.

Do you need 2 inlet gaskets on either side of the spacer or does it seal too?

You do need two gaskets either side matey

they say you don't need a gasket either side and that the material seals perfectly by itself
