I've a Blitz Nur spec on my Type R with scoobysport decat downpipe. I would say yes it's unbearablebly loud and droney.
But the trick is this - the Blitz comes with a removable baffle/bung. I drive 95% of the time with the bung in and she still made 325bhp with Andy Forrest. Its a real "sharp" note off her with the baffle in and is only really loud when you give it some.
Take the baffle out and all hell breaks loose!!

I also have a nurspec r, modified to 3" all the way with a decat and headers. It is very loud, almost unbearable. The bung does make it quieter but it also rattle which is really annoying! Still the best looking exhaust though but I personally would prefer it a touch quieter. Still sounds great though!

My work has a small multi-storey car park which i park in every morning. I set off car alarms with my Blitz exhaust every morning!

My record so far is 3 car alarms all going at once by giving it some boost up the ramps. Pisses all the bosses off big time!

It's awesome, one of the best purchases I've ever made!
