Default vxr nuremburg

this is not a good handling car! one pulled up to my rear bumper today. i thought these things were tuned for handling? i went around a bend followed by a roundabout and this thing disappeared, then on a long straight he caught up to me but by this time i lost interest!

i thought these thing lapped the nuremburg in a good time. my wrx is fitted with coilovers but that wouldn't make that much of a difference. if you want a straight line car get one of these.

maybe he was a ****e driver because i was only doing 60ish though the bends. the thing was very fast in a straight line when i was braking to let him catch up though.

the new focus rs is a joke amoungst serious rs people. i saw a guy with a 500bhp escort cosworth last week. ford don't make fast cars, they leave it to volvo. when are cost cutting ford going to learn their lesson. **** brakes **** engines. revo knuckle copied from renault.

focus rs mk1 "cosworth" forged engine components. 4 pistons brembos brakes.

tru tru... but in a straight that RS is probably faster than my UK WRX seems as tho ive only got very minimal mods.... i like to pick and choose my fights haha

one that note! coming back to parents today, got on the Lincoln (A57) bypass and i was about to overtake this Octavia VRS and he saw me coming, geared down and booted it off, wasnt bothered about racing so i left him too it, but i was quiet impressed at how quick they are.... not a bad car at all!

Sorry if ive kind of de-railed your thread haha

plenty of fast straight line cars out there, ours arn't particuarly made for that, gives the skoda, rs and vaux drivers a bit of hope by keeping up on dual carriageways lol

When I had my sti8 I had some div in a vxr up my arseend for about a mile, it got too much and i bit, floored it and left him, last thing I saw was him nearly taking out a car coming around the bend and losing it towards a hedge, he then proceeded to get up my arsend again (I was behind traffic) with a big fat grin like he'd kept up....tit!

I too had one try and overtake me on a roundabout, so I just waited till he was level and booted it, he (obviously) couldn't get the power down and passed me about 400 yards later doing 85 in a 40 mph straight at the stationary queue of traffic ahead..... Brilliant !

Nice car for what it can do, I quite like the shape.

He obviously couldn't drive. They are pretty quick cars!

Wonder if there is a famous racing track there too, maybe you mean Nurburgring edition?

The Nurburgrings definetly handle better than the Burembergs!

Maybe it was, as said above, a **** driver or he could've been unfamiliar with the roads.

Bit harsh to right off a car like that without taking it out yourself.
