The guy who is doing the work is not only a good mate of mine but a top custom car builder ( regularly in custom mags and recently on tv ) specialising in tuned V8’s. He knows more about building cars than you or I could ever hope to….BUT he is not a Subaru engineer……hence he’s not sure where certain sensors are…..I am a computer engineer, and im bloody good at my job, only if someone came in with an Apple Mac, I wouldn’t have a clue…….doesn’t mean I am incompetent, or a bad techi just means the item in question is foreign to my technical area.
Next time someone needs some genuine help please take a moment to think before posting some Smart **** comment that doesn’t help anyone!

Great Answer fella. Always annoying when you ask for advice and someone comes a long with no advice at all.

There is little point in having an AFR gauge on your car as the main Lambda sensor is a subaru proprietry sensor, and will not be compatable with the gauge. In face the overall value of the gauge is questionable.

I am running sub 300bhp, don’t intend to up it any more, hence the gauges were purely for aesthetics only, so not an issue.
