imo - not worth doing

your air, is going through a hot turbo anyhow and regardless, your filter will suck in warm air, just because a feeds plonked their doesnt mean -10'c air is going to happen.

youd be better off with a CAI..but then the same rule applies..air through a hot turbo.

Most people cut a hold in the fog light cover and feed it up through the hold where the air box went.

I'm going to do this aswell soon. The denser the air in the induction piping, the more air molecules the turbo can suck in per turn, thats how I see it.

That really depends on the size of the turbo and how much pressure the turbo is running.
A small turbo that is pushed to its limits @ say 1.5bar will send hotter air into the intake compared to a larger turbo that can handle 2bar running @ 1.5bar.

I do agree with you that an air feed wont make much difference.
