as above 70mph today, approaching a roundabout so i lift off throttle. only to get a very violent shake from the steering wheel that slowed down with less speed. at 1st thought puncture then considerd a wheel weight came off but theyre fine...
pulled over asap checked wheel nuts are tight and ive no punctures! drove off steady and all was fine. ive since done 70mph and given it a bit of stick to provoke it again but nothing.
steering fluid is good level. cars a 93 wrx import.
any ideas? pas pump fail? or rack failure?
cheers

Did it happen under braking? warped disc? Could it be wheel bearings? but if it was it should show all the time
. Tricky to say![Ponder2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/ponder2.gif)
Goodluck maybe someone else can shed some light on it for you.

also to add this was doing it when driving not lifting off throttle this morning.
i may have fixed it. jacked up, wheel off spring rotated 1/4 turn and became ill seated. the top spring seat had been forced against the inner chasis.
removed leg, top hat off and reseated in best position (not perfect. i wish they had markers on them). just coverd 20 miles gave full lock both ways and tryed to provoke it.
at 1st a few clunks backing/turning off driveway. few more at the end of the road but for the remainder of the drive all is well. keep fingers crossed please.
cheers
