I want to fit a decat up and down pipe to my 2004 WRX with a Prodrive Proformance pack. My question is will the prodrive ecu be ok with this or will it need a remap? and what increase in proformance can I expect?
Thanks all

You would get away without a remap but if you do de-cat and remap you should see 270-280 bhp I reckon.
If the d/p on PPP is sports cat I wouldn't bother de-catting and just go for re-map.

I went down the Milltek decat system with Ecutek remap as soon as the warranty expired on my 55plate WRX PPP. The difference is huge. Loads more mid range torque and better mpg!. Walbro fuel pump is a worthwhile investment to ensure sufficient fuelling. The only downside is that you will realise that the brakes are not upto it. I did mine first fortunately!
