First of all im a newbie here soo hello all!!
i brought my MY2000 Impreza Turbo 2000 on sat the 15th this month and i love her she sounds ace and goes really well. but. .
i really want to here some pops and bangs as at the moments although it sounds great with its magnaflow de-cat and stainless i want it sexier!!!
i know i can get this with a DV but is there anyother way?
also does a panel filter ie K&N make a big Difference on the Scoob?

Welcome to SN ![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
If you get a remap you can have a few pops and bangs 'put in' I believe.. A VTA DV is no sure way to get the pops and bangs. I have a full de-cat and a Forge VTA and very very rarely do I get any pops and bangs.

EcuTek or SimTek would be the best option.
Have a look here... Jolly Green Monster Simon is one of the most trusted mappers in the business as many people on here and elsewhere will tell you.

Welcome!
Yep- or you can go down the Apexi ECU route with a remap... I have a few pops and bangs on the overrun courtesy of API - you'll get a bit more power from it too.
Cheers

I use to get them on my old Spec C with the standard exhaust
its just unburnt fuel coming through, just as long as you dont get too much unburnt fuel as it will mess your cat up ![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)

OT foxy, what forum do you run? Im thinking of selling my project S16 (72k miles, quite clean though needs a little bit of paint) and I think that it would be nice if she went to an enthusiast who could put her back on the road
(starts/runs/new parts/parts inc)
