I over tightened a bolt when refitting today and now some of the thread is stuck in the head.

I am going to try and get the broken piece out tomorrow, if all goes wrong and I have to swap the head can I reuse the head bolts?

 

yes you can reuse head bolts , try and weld nut onto wots left ov snapped bolt

I think I may have to dril and tap it not enough sticking out to weld to, got a spare head to hand in case I **** it.

 

sorry to but in , iv,e done the same thing , its on the drivers side, bottom left bolt, i havent a clue what to do , iv,e bought some easy out and 2.5 mm drill bits , but i cant reach the bolt , any ideas , thanks for your time. vic
