i dunno if this is anything the same but i had something close on a cosworth where if i hammered it when the boost come in it would misfire but take it easy and it would boost all ok it turned out to be running too much boost for too long and ovaled out the bores in the cylinders. may not be that but something to think about

As has been said, this is a classic case of either your spark plugs or coils breaking down under load.

I personaly would go with the plugs first as it's the most likely cause and a S**t load cheaper than changing your coils. (the plugs should be changed every 3yrs or 30,000 miles)

The std plug for your car would be an NGK PFR6G, but if you have any small mods on the car then a slightly cooler plug PFR7G or PFR7G-11 (the 7g & 7g-11 are the same plug but produced with a different gap pre set) would be ideal.

If you fit plugs then don't forget to gap then to 0.65 - 0.7mm or you will still suffer from a missfire when on boost.

Phil

As above - start with plugs but I bet its the coil-paks.
I fitted Spec X ones after mine fell apart - what a difference - funny that!lol!
Start with coil pack next to the driverseat - it seems this one dies worst first in the ones that Ive seen.

Hope that helps.
