Default sti clocks

I have aquired a set of 06 sti clocks to put in my 03wrx, I have done a lot of reading on the subject and have come to the conclusion that I need to cut the C9 wire to prevent the clocks buzzing and the B28 wire to prevent it blowing radio fuses, also need to hook up an earth to pin B4 to disable the diff temp warning light, I understand that the only way to hide the dccd light is to dismantle the clocks and tape over it, the only confusion I have is the abs lights, 05 onwards have a reverse circuit. I have found out that I either need to wire a relay before the clocks or remove the reverse circuit from the cluster, has anyone done this and can offer any tips, I am competent with soldering, and fairly knowledgeable with circuit diagrams etc. Just unsure which method to try. The instructions for the relay on NASIOC is a bit vague to say the least so I will have to experiment a little so anyone who has done this could save me a lot of hassle. I have also got hold of the software for mileage correction can anyone recommend an eeprom programmer that is cheap and good enough for the job, the chip is a 93c56. Any advice appreciated to help save me some time.

Just to update have now fitted the clocks, required a relay to reverse ABS circuit, tape over dccd light also disconnect C9 wire and ground pins A2 and B4 to disable diff temp and brake light, works a treat, just need to get mileage corrected now. Does anyone know the location of the eeprom in the cluster that holds this data as I have software and soldering skills to carry this out just need a little guidance.

Thanks
