Default Washer pump (Blobeye)

Hi all, having a little washer pump problem on my '54 plate Blobeye.

Fuse isn't blown, bonnet nozzels are free and clear, I just don't actually get any life from the washer bottle pump, no noise, nothing.

Pump dead? Are they known for giving up, or is there something else I could try?

Nod.

(if you guys think it is just a goosed pump, if anyone has a spare lying around - pm me lol)

Is there a cheeky, easy way I can test myself? Such as removing it, and then taking to bits of wire from my battery terminal to it to see if it comes to life? Or will I blow-up the poor little pump? lol

yes you can directly feed wires from the battery to the pump,it will not blow up.and if pump works, then you either got a wiring problem or the washer switch on the wiper staulk is knackered.
