Prosport gauge Fitting..Sandwich Plate or T-piece?
As the title suggests, im fitting a triple set of Prosport stepper gauges into my classic MY99..The relevant gauges are supplied with senders/sensors and prosprot recommend their sandwich plate which fits beneath the oil filter. Although this means dropping the oil (which ive just replaced....typical), the senders etc just screw straight in, no hassle. Ive also seen the T-piece adaptor, and although this mean syou dont have to drain the engine, it seems to mean a more complicated installation.
Can anyone recommend the easiest solution and any pitfalls to look out for?? Ive also bought a pod but this is very tacky, very very shiney plastic...Where can i get one the actually looks OE> ive tried all over the net but still cant find anything..
Any advice would be great.

This kit from scoobyparts made my installation a lot easier and cleaner:
clicky
I believe quite a few others have used this kit. I bought the ATI hood which blended in fine with the dash but for a newage. I'm not sure if the classics will be of the same quality from that site but I'm sure someone will recommend one for you.
