The Bosch LS02 is defo the 3-wire one, yes - so as far as that's concerned you... er, have the same universal job.

However, to check if your MY is defo 3 or 4 wire, simply look at the electrical socket on the loom that the sensor would plug into. It'll either have 3 or 4 wires going into it.

BTW, incase your universal job has no plug on it, then when you reuse the existing lambda's plug and pigtail, the two white wires on the uni are the heater +ve and -ve (don't matter which way round they get wired), and the black is the 0-0.9V signal wire...

I don't think so mate

What are the wire colour on your loom

I got the LS02 for my MY93 WRX 1 x black = signal.
2 x white = (+ -)heater.

lol I'm not saying the wires of the car's loom are 2 x white, 1 x black (strangely I think it could be 2 black and 1 white!???)... I was just letting the OP know what the 2 x white and 1 x black wires actually do on his O2 sensor (as you had). :-O

Sorry, that other post doesn't read too well does it. My apologies. ;-)

Just123 I am looking at lamda sensors, seen bosch one @ a reasonable price.
Would you recommended it? Has it had any problems?

Thanks
